Steel Doors in :

Today, steel doors are the most common choices for replacement, they’re economical, secure, low maintenance and come in a plethora of styles and colours to choose from.
There is nothing that could beat a steel door in term of its durability.  The material can withstand the harshest conditions that all too often makes wood a flawed material, susceptible to rot and sun damage.
It is important to note the large range in quality and price when trying to find the right steel door.  Each steel door product name has a number attached to it (i.e. 24-gauge steel door). The greater the number, the thinner  the steel. Only 24-gauge and 22-gauge steel doors are used for the home, while other lower grades are used in the commercial and security markets.
24-gauge steel doors are frequently found  in homes across the GTA and are inexpensive. One should note that it is a temporary solution and should not be relied upon to last. Rusting and paint chipping is often a shared grievance amongst consumers. It is also known to bend and flex very easily.
22-gauge steel doors are also commonly found in the home. It is a thicker quality and does not bend of flex as much as the 24-gauge.

Fiberglass Doors in

Fiberglass is comparatively a new trend in the door industry. It’s not just low maintenance, it also resistant  to dents and scratches and is sturdy and secure as well. Quality is big when considering fiberglass doors, we therefore recommend that you stay away from the cheaper varieties. Cheaper varieties are known to crack in cold weather and the finish may deteriorate quickly.
One advantage to installing a fiberglass door is that it does not necessitate a finish to be considered low-maintenance. Unfinished fiberglass doors are known to last longer without the fear of mold, rust or rot.
